Swing gate turnstile also called swing barrier gate, which are widely used in the airport, metro station, bus station or even the office buildings. They possess lots of advantages, some of which are listed as below. 

1. Swing gate turnstile could work with smart IC card .The system uses non-contact smart card, also known as radio frequency card. It solves lots of problems successfully, like multi-purpose card, confidentiality, simple operation and so on, and greatly improves the practicability of the system.

2. Easy to expand. RS485 bus communication (TCP communication) is used between computer and gate so that the expansion is convenient. That is, when the corresponding control system is installed, if the quantity of channels needs to be increased, the hardware only needs to increase the corresponding devices, and the software can be set up the new equipment easily.

3. Reliability. The reliability of swing gate turnstile is based on the reliability of various components of the brake and the integration mode. Choosing good quality components is the base work, such as the card reader, controller, screen and so on. The integration mode mainly depends on the design and modeling of control unit and communication mode. Lightning protection components are also related to the reliability of equipment.

4. Anti-collision function of swing gate turnstile. When the swing gate panel is locked up, it can not be pushed by external force and can withstand the collision force within the safe range. The emergency escape control device is equipped to automatically unlock the brake rod into a free mode, so as to facilitate the evacuation of crowds (remote control).

5. Traffic indicating function of the swing gate turnstile. When LED is installed on the top of the swing gate turnstile body to indicate the traffic status and direction, and more than 2 legitimate traffic signals are given at the same time, the system will memorize all traffic requests and complete each traffic action in turn.

6. Compatibility of the swing gate turnstile. The swing gate turnstile is equipped with dry contact signal output interface and wide threshold level signal input interface, which is compatible with all kinds of access control controllers.
