In recent times, to meet the demand for transparency in door areas of modern buildings, designers usually prefer revolving door solutions with small canopy, which poses significant challenges to the height of traditional canopy. Due to the size limitations of electrical components and hardware, the canopy typically have a minimum height requirement—for example, 300mm or 250mm. Reducing the canopy height means reselecting components such as motors and gearboxes, as well as redesigning the hardwares. To ensure the quality of the new design, prototype doors also need to undergo testing and quality tracking, which is undoubtedly a time-consuming and resource-intensive task....

However, to meet the growing market and customer demand for small canopy, after several months of R&D and design, TSTC has finally developed a new Electro-mechanical Beam in the canopy that significantly reduces the canopy height, for the automatic revolving door TAR300, the minimum height of the canopy could be reduced to 200mm, and for manual revolving doors, the minimum height can even be as small as 100mm. Despite the reduced canopy height, the quality and normal operation of the revolving doors remain unaffected. According to our experimental data, the operating performance of automatic revolving doors equipped with the new electro-mechanical beam is almost identical to that of the traditional TAR300 model.
The new Electro-mechanical Beam adopt the high strength galvanized steel plate, with painting surface for rust prevention, but the whole dimension of the beam has reduced a lot compared with the old ones, what's more, the new beam adjust the assemble position for the SIEMENS motor and Gearbox , and reduce the dimension and connection method of the hardwares, all of which mentioned above have overall reduced the height of the door canopy....
