Balanced door is one type of swing doors, but it's different from the swing door. 

To the normal swing doors, they are conventional hinged doors require more force or strength to open, especially when the wind outside is stronger .

To the Balanced Door, its special structure could use the differential of interior and exterior air pressure to facilitate opening of the door. The imposed forces, whether wind or stack draft suction, are balanced on each side of the pivot in a 'see-saw' fashion.

There were 2 types to assemble the balanced door. One is snap on covers with no visible screws. The other is concealed closer arm and track linkage.
